Our church building, which we share with Movilla Abbey Church of Ireland, is located on the eastern outskirts of Newtownards, about 10 miles east of Belfast in Northern Ireland.

Newtownards has developed over the years from a quiet market town to a busy commercial centre. The population is now approximately 30,000, many of whom commute daily to work in Belfast.

The town is located strategically at the head of Strangford Lough and one of the dominant features of the area is Scrabo Tower (picture), built in 1857 as a memorial to the 3rd Marquis of Londonderry. The hill where the tower stands offers impressive views over Newtownards, the northern part of Strangford Lough and even as far as the Mourne Mountains.
